While often performed around the Christmas season, George Frideric Handel's Messiah was originally introduced in April 1742 as an Easter offering. And this season, The Bach Society of Dayton joins us at the APAC for a very special presentation of this glorious choral work. Laurence Cummings, longtime Director of the London Handel Festival, acknowledges Handel’s masterwork: "the chorus propels the work forward with great emotional impact and uplifting messages." Since2002, the Bach Society of Dayton have been bringing awe-inspiring choral music to the Dayton region, and we are thrilled they will bring Handel’s Messiah to the APAC this Easter.
